Flood Warning
Issued: 10:48 AM CDT May. 26, 2019 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Sabine River near Bon Wier.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:15 am Sunday the stage was 35.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 35.1 feet by this
afternoon and then slowly begin falling overnight.
* Impact... at stages near 35.0 feet... expect several secondary roads
in the Merryville and Bon Wier areas near the river to be closed.
* Impact... at stages near 33.0 feet... moderate lowland flooding will
occur. Low-lying roads and a few homes have some flooding between
Bon Wier and Merryville. Camp houses along the river in southwest
Vernon Parish begin to flood.
* Impact... at stages near 32.0 feet... roads in the Sabine sands area
near Bon Wier become flooded.
