... Coastal Flood Watch remains in effect from this evening
through late tonight...

* locations... shoreline in Anne Arundel County.

* Tidal departure... two to two and a half feet above normal.

* Timing... around the time of high tide. High tide at Annapolis
is at 9:56 PM Monday evening.

* Impacts... water is expected to come up through storm drains,
approaching businesses on dock street in Annapolis. Water is
expected to approach the maritime museum and begin to cover
Bowyer Road at the naval Academy. Shoreline inundation up to one
foot above ground is likely in other low lying areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal Flood Watch means that conditions favorable for
flooding are expected to develop. Coastal residents should be
alert for later statements or warnings, and take action to
protect property.
