Watches & Warnings

Lakeshore Flood Advisory
Issued: 12:44 PM EDT May. 19, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Lakeshore flood advisory remains in effect until 4 am EDT
Monday...

* Lake Shore flooding... southerly winds will persist this
afternoon, with occasional gusts to 30 mph expected into the
evening. These winds combined with increasing wave activity
will lead to rising lake levels along portions of Lake St Clair,
including New Baltimore, Anchorville and New Haven.

* Impacts... high water level combined with higher waves may lead
to Lakeshore flooding and damage to structures along the
shoreline. In addition, significant beach erosion will occur.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Lakeshore flood advisory indicates that onshore winds will
generate flooding of low areas along the Lakeshore.

* Prepare, plan and stay informed. Visit www.Weather.Gov/safety
