The National Weather Service in Tulsa has extended the

* Flood Warning for...
northeastern Mayes County in northeastern Oklahoma...

* until 1215 PM CDT Saturday.

* At 925 am CDT, grda relayed that due to heavy inflows, it is
necessary to maintain the release of high volumes of water. This
may or will cause flooding in areas below Pensacola dam near
Langley, OK. This condition mandates that you monitor local water
levels and prepare to evacuate. Please understand that immediate
action should be taken. At this time, it is anticipated that the
discharge at Pensacola dam will be 190,000 cubic feet per second.
Further information can be secured at grda's emergency operations
center at 918-256-0911. Grda will make additional notifications of
any increases in releases from the dam.

south central Mayes County in northeastern Oklahoma...
east central Wagoner County in northeastern Oklahoma...

* until 1215 PM CDT Friday.

* At 921 am CDT, grda relayed that due to heavy inflows, it is
necessary to maintain the release of high volumes of water. This
may or will cause flooding in areas below Kerr dam on Lake Hudson
near Locust Grove, OK. This condition mandates that you monitor
local water levels and prepare to evacuate. Please understand that
immediate action should be taken. At this time, it is anticipated
that the discharge at Kerr dam will be 190,000 cubic feet per
second. Further information can be secured at grda's emergency
operations center at 918-256-0911. Grda will make additional
notifications of any increases in releases from the dam.

* At 316 am CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain moving east
across portions of far northeast Oklahoma. This activity is
expected to exit the warning area early this morning. Widespread
rainfall amounts of 5 to nearly 10 inches have already fallen over
the past 2 to 3 days, and significant river flooding and flooding
of low-lying areas, creeks and streams will persist.
