Watches & Warnings

Areal Flood Watch
Issued: 11:43 AM CDT May. 25, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Flood Watch remains in effect through Sunday morning...

The Flood Watch for flash flooding... flooding of creeks and
rivers... and flooding of low lying areas continues for

* northern, central, and western Oklahoma and adjacent parts of
western North Texas.

* Through early Sunday morning.

* Additional heavy rainfall associated with strong and severe
thunderstorms could lead to dangerous and potentially life
threatening conditions in some areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
