the Flood Warning continues for
the Arkansas River at Ralston.
* Until further notice.
* At 9:15 am Sunday, the stage was 21.98 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the Arkansas River at Ralston will continue rising to
near 22.3 feet this evening then begin falling. The river is will
remain above 21 feet through Wednesday afternoon and above 19.4
feet through Friday morning.
* Impact... at 22.0 feet, severe agricultural flooding occurs. Water
levels are within 2 feet of topping the Ralston sewage treatment
levees when the stage reaches 22 feet. This is a dangerous
situation.

the Flood Warning continues for
the Arkansas River near Ponca City.
* Until further notice.
* At 10:00 am Sunday, the stage was 21.51 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Record flooding is occurring and record flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the Arkansas River near Ponca City will continue to
remain near 21.6 feet until further notice.
* Impact... at 21.0 feet, in Ponca City, the west approach of the south
Avenue access Road to the old Highway 60 bridge is threatened.
Businesses along Lake Road are threatened. The lower areas south of
south Avenue between 12th and 14th streets are inundated. This is a
dangerous and life threatening situation.

... Flood Warning extended until Tuesday evening...

The Flood Warning continues for
the bird creek near Sperry.
* Until Tuesday evening.
* At 9:00 am Sunday, the stage was 23.16 feet.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the bird creek near Sperry will continue rising to near
25.4 feet early Monday afternoon. The river is expected to fall
below flood stage early Tuesday afternoon.
* Impact... at 26.0 feet, moderate flooding of rural lands occurs from
Skiatook to Turley. Highway 20 east of Skiatook is impassable. Some
minor flooding of streets in east Skiatook may occur.

... Flash Flood Watch in effect until 1 PM CDT this afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for a portion of northeast Oklahoma...
including the following counties... Craig... Nowata... Osage...
Ottawa and Washington OK.

* Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon

* a cluster of showers and thunderstorms across southern Kansas
and far northeast Oklahoma could produce 1 to 2 inches of rain
this morning. If this occurs, it would fall on areas that have
been hit hard over the past week, and much of the rainfall would
just be runoff. Thus, the potential for flash flooding is
higher.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means rapidly rising water or flooding is
possible within the watch area.

* until 1130 am CDT.

* At 834 am CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
A half inch to an inch of rain is possible.
