4/2013: Greetings from Michigan, where we get a wide variety of weather changes throughout the four seasons! I originally found this site for the weather, and the photos kept drawing my interest! Decided to get my first digital camera in 2010, and have since upgraded to a Nikon L120/P520, which has helped photography become my favorite hobby! I have always loved the outdoors, and now I have a perfect excuse to get out and explore nature! What a great community here, so many excellent photographers and friends, so little time! I would like to thank everyone who contributes, for all of the great inspiration and feedback! Sometime down the road I would still like to get a DSLR camera, but for now I just I hope to send a small view of life from the Great Lakes State. Home of the Michigan Wolverines! Go Blue! -James |

Side Note: Is anybody else missing all their
e-mail on this site?? I never get any
notifications of messages on photos, nor even
any messages in the e-mail section.
Also, James, does your P510 capture RAW images?
and I had about 1100 messages that I had
saved over time.
Somthin en't workin' right.
P500 does not have the capability of RAW.
My Lumix in the settings has a category
"Image Quality" and that is where I can
set either JPEG or RAW for captures.
I begin to suspect that Nikon Coolpix still
has not have the capability.
