One of the real treats of the Southwest is the thunder and lightning storms we get in the summer. The light trails are cars passing by as the shutter was open. The camera was mounted on a window mount tripod.

Holy mackeral. I agree completely with DancinPants, why would anyone give this less than a '10' ? Yet, some people did. I don't get it. Maybe they're just jealous? Anyway, this is definitely one of THE best WU pics I've ever seen (Ive been a member since 2002).

Wonderful shot! Yes, we did have a good storm system that evening. We are in Placitas, 10 miles north of Albuquerque. Finally, we got some rain and a good storm!! I give it a 10++++++++++ as well.
