This is about the best that the tornado ever looked. It was on the ground for a few minutes, before it lifted, and then briefly touched down again.

Whoa! I hope you were using a zoom lense! It looks like it was coming directly at you! My girlfriend and her husband had one drop out of the sky about a mile from where they were driving in their motorhome back in 2004. I asked her how fast it got to her, and she said just a matter of minutes! It just missed her and her husband! Crossed the highway just behind them. She said the backwinds were so strong,it almost blew their motorhome off the road! And it was a small tornado!
